Cambodia is a country defined by extraordinary contrasts — the soaring grandeur of a lost empire alongside the quiet resilience of a nation rebuilding itself. At its heart lies Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument on Earth, surrounded by hundreds of other temples scattered through the jungle near Siem Reap, each one a testament to the Khmer Empire's golden age.
Beyond the temples, Cambodia reveals a gentler rhythm: floating villages on the Tonlé Sap Lake, the bustling riverside charm of Phnom Penh, and the slow, contemplative pace of the Mekong as it winds south toward Vietnam. The country's modern history is sobering, and travelers who visit the Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum often leave with a renewed appreciation for the strength of the Cambodian spirit.
At Finders & Keepers Safaris, we believe Cambodia rewards travelers who balance awe with reflection — sunrise over Angkor's towers, a quiet boat ride through a floating village, and an evening market in Siem Reap where the warmth of Khmer hospitality is unmistakable.

The Privilege Floor occupies the uppermost level of the Lotus Blanc Resort in central Siem Reap, kept deliberately separate from the hotel below it. Guests arrive at their own reception, use their own lounge, and stay in the resort’s largest and quietest room categories — an arrangement that gives the calm of a boutique property without giving up a full resort’s facilities.
The location does a great deal of the work. Angkor Wat and the wider temple complex are around ten minutes away, which matters more than it sounds when you are leaving before dawn to reach the towers at sunrise. The Angkor National Museum, Siem Reap’s restaurant district and its night markets are all close enough to walk to in the evening, with no transfer to arrange.
It suits travellers who want the temples done properly and the rest of the day kept easy — a private floor lounge for breakfast before an early start, a rooftop bar for a drink afterwards, and a fast, separate check-in at either end of the stay.
