Enquire About This FlightOverview
The Suguta Valley has earned the name honestly.
The Suguta Valley is a floor of ash, sand dunes and lava rock in one of the hottest, driest corners of the Rift. At its northern end the Barrier Volcanic Complex rises out of it: four young volcanoes — Kalolenyang, Kakorinya, and the Likaiu peaks — between the valley and the southern shore of Lake Turkana.
From above, the mushroom-shaped rock formations, the wind-carved dunes and the raw geology of the Barrier read the way they should: as one of the least-visited landscapes anywhere in East Africa, with views south to Logipi and north to Lake Turkana.
