Road Safari Experience
The journey between the destinations matters too.
On our road safaris, the journey is never simply about getting from Nairobi to the wilderness. Along the way, we make time for places worth stopping for — breathtaking viewpoints, wildlife-rich lakes, geothermal landscapes and experiences that turn the road into part of the adventure.
Stopovers · Experiences · Memories
Introduction
More than a road to the safari.
Some of Kenya’s most memorable moments happen between destinations.
A dramatic view across the Great Rift Valley. A quiet moment watching birds around Lake Nakuru. Cycling through the landscapes of Hell’s Gate. A peaceful stop beside Lake Naivasha.
Our road journeys are designed to make room for these experiences. Depending on your itinerary, route and available time, selected stopovers can become part of your journey to or from safari.
How Stopovers Work
Woven into the route, not bolted on.
Stopovers are incorporated according to the route, timing and safari itinerary. Some are naturally positioned on the way to your destination, while others work especially well on the return journey.
Stopovers depend on your selected itinerary, route and available time. Not every stopover appears on every safari.
The Stopovers
Four places worth slowing down for.

Great Rift Valley Viewpoint
Pause above one of Kenya’s most spectacular landscapes and take in the sweeping views of the Great Rift Valley.
