Private Jets

Four countries in a week, without losing three days to airports.

A private aircraft turns a safari that would take a fortnight into one that fits a week — and reaches the airstrips that scheduled flights never serve. Arranged on request, across seven African countries.

How This Works

On request. Quoted for you. Never off a price list.

We do not publish private jet prices, and we would be misleading you if we did. Charter cost depends on the aircraft, the routing, the number of flying days, the airstrips involved and when you travel. Two parties on the same itinerary a month apart can be quoted very differently.

So this is a request service. You tell us where you want to go and roughly when, we price the aircraft against that specific plan, and you see one figure covering the flying and the safari together before you commit to anything.

By request only

Private jets are arranged when you ask for them. They are not attached to a published itinerary or offered as a standing upgrade.

Quoted, not listed

Every charter is priced against your actual routing and dates. There is no rate card, and no figure until we have built the plan.

One arrangement

The aircraft and the safari are quoted and run together — the flying, the camps, the guiding and the ground, from one team.

Where We Fly

Seven countries, across two regions.

Our private jet service covers these countries and no others. Within each region you can fly a single country or combine several; across the two regions we would normally arrange a scheduled connection between them rather than a charter.

Region One

East Africa

The classic multi-country ground. Migration in the Serengeti and the Mara, gorillas in Rwanda and Uganda, and airstrips close enough that a jet turns four countries into one comfortable week.

Region Two

Southern Africa

Bigger distances and thinner scheduled networks, which is exactly where a private aircraft earns its cost. The Okavango, the Namib and the great South African reserves in a single unbroken journey.

These seven countries are the full extent of our private jet service. We do not charter aircraft elsewhere in Africa, and we will tell you plainly if a destination you have in mind falls outside it rather than quoting something we cannot run properly.

Illustrative Routing

What a week in the air can actually cover.

An example only — your own routing is built from scratch. It shows the kind of ground a jet makes reachable inside a single journey.

East Africa — four countries, seven flying days

Nairobi Maasai Mara Serengeti Kigali Bwindi Nairobi

The same circuit on scheduled flights runs to roughly twice the days, most of the difference spent waiting rather than travelling.

Southern Africa — three countries, six flying days

Johannesburg Sabi Sand Okavango Delta Sossusvlei Cape Town

Distances here are the argument. Sossusvlei to the Delta by road is days; by air it is a morning.

Four Ways To Fly

However much of the map you want.

Each of these is arranged on request and priced against your plan. Tell us which shape fits and we will build it.

01

A single East African country

Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda or Rwanda on its own. Most useful in Kenya and Tanzania, where several reserves sit a long way apart and a jet lets you take in three or four properly rather than two in a hurry.

  • Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda or Rwanda
  • Multiple reserves inside one country
  • Aircraft held for the days you need it
  • Airstrips scheduled services do not reach

02

Multi-country East Africa

Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda in one journey — or any two or three of them. This is where a charter changes the trip most: border crossings and connections stop dictating the route.

  • Any combination of the four countries
  • Migration, gorillas and chimpanzees in one journey
  • Regional flights and border formalities handled
  • No overnight stops made purely to catch a connection

03

A single Southern African country

Botswana, Namibia or South Africa on its own. Botswana and Namibia in particular are built for it — the distances are long, the roads are slow and the best camps sit at the end of a strip.

  • Botswana, Namibia or South Africa
  • Delta, desert and Big Five reserves
  • Direct access to remote private concessions
  • Aircraft matched to strip length and party size

04

Multi-country Southern Africa

Botswana, Namibia and South Africa combined. The region rewards a jet more than anywhere else we operate, simply because of how far apart the good ground is.

  • Any combination of the three countries
  • Okavango, Namib and the Cape in one journey
  • Delta water camps and Kalahari in the same week
  • Cross-border clearances arranged for you

What Is Included

The aircraft is the beginning of it, not the whole of it.

We arrange the entire journey, not just the flying. One team, one plan, one point of contact from the first enquiry to the last landing.

The Aircraft

Chartered for the days your itinerary needs, matched to your party size and to the airstrips on the route.

Your Stays

Every camp, lodge and hotel across the journey, chosen for the ground they hold and booked in your name.

Guiding & Game Drives

Private guides and vehicles throughout, so the pace on the ground matches the freedom in the air.

Transfers & Ground

Airstrip transfers, park and conservancy fees, and every movement between the aircraft and your camp.

Clearances & Permits

Cross-border flight clearances, landing permissions and gorilla or conservancy permits where the route calls for them.

One Specialist

The person who quotes the journey runs it, and stays reachable while you are travelling.

International flights to and from Africa sit outside this arrangement and are quoted separately, as they are on all our African safaris. We can arrange those too — see our flights and air ticketing page.

Why It Changes The Journey

What you are actually buying is days.

The case for a private aircraft is rarely the aircraft. It is what happens to the itinerary once scheduled flights stop setting the shape of it.

—

Days back

A multi-country East African circuit that takes fourteen days on scheduled flights often runs to eight or nine on a charter. The difference is almost entirely waiting.

—

Camps that were out of reach

The most remote concessions are served by airstrip and nothing else. A charter puts them inside a normal-length trip.

—

Your hours, not the airline’s

Depart after the morning game drive rather than before it. Flight times are set around the safari instead of the other way round.

—

Luggage that fits

Light safari aircraft carry strict soft-bag limits. On a private charter the allowance is set by the aircraft we choose for you.

How To Arrange It

Four steps, and a real figure at the end of them.

01

You reach out

Tell us the countries, roughly when, and how many of you are travelling. Nothing more is needed to start.

02

We build the routing

We plan the safari and the flying together, choosing aircraft against the airstrips, distances and party size.

03

You receive one quote

A single figure covering the charter, the camps, the guiding and the ground, with what it includes set out in full.

04

We run the journey

Aircraft, clearances, camps and guides confirmed and held, with one specialist reachable throughout.

Request A Quote

Tell us where you want to go.

There is no obligation and no figure until you have seen the plan. Send us the outline and a specialist will come back with a routing and a price.

Countries you would like to include

Request received.

A specialist will build a routing against your countries and dates, price the aircraft alongside the safari, and come back to you with one figure and what sits inside it. Nothing is charged, and nothing is committed, until you have seen it.

The camps at the end of the airstrip are the ones worth reaching.

Tell us the countries and the month. We will show you what a week in the air makes possible.
