Overview
The Grand Tour, Reimagined
A hundred and four rooms and suites in an 18th-century palazzo, with the whole city below.
Hotel de la Ville sits directly above the Spanish Steps, in an 18th-century palazzo whose design draws deliberately on the Grand Tour — the period when wealthy Europeans came to Rome to be educated by it. The 104 rooms and suites combine contemporary comfort with elegant textiles and original artworks, and the marble bathrooms are as lavish as the address implies. Several accommodations open onto private terraces with panoramic views, and the location puts Via Condotti, the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon within a short walk.
Above and Beyond, for suite guests. Guests in suites can access an experiential programme developed with cultural partner Imago Artis Travel, opening hidden terraces, domes and sacred landmarks not normally accessible to the public.
