Overview
Inspired by the Boulders
Singita Boulders takes its name and its architecture from the ancient, weathered boulders scattered along the banks of the Sand River — one so large it now sits at the centre of the lodge's own wine cellar.
Design here reflects the four elements — earth, fire, air and water — in charcoal and copper tones, rustic handmade furnishings shaped from fossilised tree stumps, solid stone and wrought iron, softened by sheepskin rugs and natural flax linen. Twelve suites, split between River and Bush categories plus family configurations, sit open to the elements or behind walls of glass, each with a private plunge pool and viewing deck. The lodge holds access to 45,000 acres within the Sabi Sand Nature Reserve, adjacent to Kruger National Park, an area renowned among guides for its frequency of leopard sightings.
Part of the wider Singita Sabi Sand. Boulders shares its private traversing rights with Singita's other Sabi Sand lodges, giving guests access to one continuous, exclusive wilderness area free of outside vehicle traffic.
