Overview
Where the Fig Tree Stands
Hidden in a wooded valley in Mara Naboisho Conservancy, Saruni Leopard Hill sits beside the landmark Double Fig Tree — a Maasai site of special significance, and the frame for some of Kenya's finest sunrises.
Just six tents make up the whole of Leopard Hill, built beside a series of natural watering holes that draw wildlife past camp throughout the day. The tent architecture takes its shape from the round Maasai manyatta, elevated on wooden platforms for a near-360-degree view — from the bed toward the fig tree, from the bathroom back out to the plains. Naboisho's 50,000 acres are especially prolific after dark, when the camp's night drives and the calls of resident predators take over from the birdsong of the day.
Six tents, four in deluxe form. Four spacious deluxe tents, one family tent and one honeymoon tent make up Leopard Hill's full complement — an intentionally small footprint that keeps the camp intimate and the conservancy's wildlife largely undisturbed.

Location
Mara Naboisho, A Private Conservancy
Naboisho borders the Masai Mara National Reserve directly, giving Leopard Hill's guides access to open savannah, wooded hills and some of the region's best-kept big cat territory.
Set on the side of a wooded valley, one of the more secluded positions among Naboisho's camps.
Every guest's stay contributes directly to community-based conservation across the conservancy.
The camp is powered largely by solar energy, with careful water and waste management throughout.
Employment is drawn from the surrounding Maasai community, including sponsorship for the nearby Koiyaki Guiding School.
Fly
Scheduled flights connect Nairobi's Wilson Airport to airstrips serving the Naboisho Conservancy.
Drive
A private transfer through the conservancy brings guests into the wooded valley where camp sits.
