Overview

A Cradle of
Chinese Civilisation

Xi'an was once home to thirteen imperial Chinese dynasties, and The Ritz-Carlton brings a sense of that history into its central business district location, merging traditional elements with modern luxury throughout.

Designed by Remedios Studio, the hotel's interiors draw on architectural and design motifs from Xi'an's northern Silk Road trade routes, patterned by local artisans into shared social spaces for visitors and residents alike. The lobby's soaring ceilings, grand chandeliers and four-sided glass fireplace set an immediately serene tone, carried through to 283 rooms and suites dressed in rich plum accents and plush furnishings, each with floor-to-ceiling windows over the city. An entire floor is dedicated to The Ritz-Carlton Spa, complete with a Zen garden, private couples' suites and an indoor pool, while the rooftop bar Flair offers cocktails and Southeast Asian tapas with sweeping night views of the city.

Committed to sustainability. The Ritz-Carlton, Xi'an focuses on energy and water conservation, waste reduction and sourcing sustainable ingredients, alongside community outreach programmes across the city.
