Rooms shaped around the ancient granite of the Kogakuria Kopje, minutes from the Mara River crossings.

Overview
On the Kopje, Above the Plains
Twelve rooms across a main camp and a private camp, wrapped around ancient granite.
Lamai Serengeti stands on the Kogakuria Kopje in the far north of the Serengeti, just south of the Kenyan border, with its suites and open-fronted lounges shaped around the boulders rather than placed beside them. Twelve rooms in total are split between the main camp and a smaller private camp available for exclusive use. Construction is a deliberate blend of canvas, ferro-cement and natural poles, with verandas spread among the rocks. The view runs towards the Mara River Valley and the Lamai Wedge.
The crossings are minutes away. Between July and October the camp sits in prime position for the migration, close enough to the Mara River that guests can be on the bank when a crossing begins.
