Just an hour from the riads and souks of central Marrakech, the Agafay's lunar landscape of stone and dry riverbeds provides a genuine change of scene, framed by the snow-capped Atlas Mountains on clear days. Nineteen tents and suites, redesigned by owner Vincent Jaquet, blend Moroccan craftsmanship with contemporary decor and discreet thermal and sound insulation, so the camp feels comfortable regardless of season. Two heated pools anchor the property's daytime life — a sand-and-quartz Desert Lagoon that blends into the landscape, and an Infinity Pool with sweeping canyon views — while dinner is served each night in the Circle, the camp's communal living space, lit by campfire and candlelight beneath a sky thick with stars.
