Overview
Where Sunrise Meets Sunset
Known as the Island of the Sun, Pangulasian is the only El Nido Resorts island offering unobstructed views of both sunrise and sunset, its 750-metre white sand beach backed by tropical forest and Bacuit Bay's dramatic limestone cliffs.
Opened in December 2012, Pangulasian holds just 42 villas across contemporary Filipino, cutting-edge 'green' design, perched anywhere from 15 to 59 feet off the ground and reached by buggy or wooden boardwalk. Beach Villas sit directly on the sand near the resort's centre; Pool Villas each hold a 22-square-metre private pool connected to the balcony; and a cluster of four Kalaw Villas shares a secluded cove, pool and sala for intimate gatherings. The island's forest hosts macaques, monitor lizards and hornbills, while more than 20 dive sites and El Nido's famous Big and Small Lagoons sit within easy boat range — all overseen by Ten Knots Development Corporation, whose environmental and social responsibility initiatives have earned repeated industry recognition.
Part of a three-island family. Pangulasian shares Bacuit Bay with El Nido Resorts' other two properties, Miniloc Island and Lagen Island, and guests can dine or use facilities across all three during their stay.
