A 200-year-old rammed-earth kasbah where every meal happens somewhere new, every day is improvised around you, and the only fixed rule is that there are no rules at all.

Overview
The House of Dreams
Dar Ahlam means House of Dreams, and for nearly 25 years this 200-year-old kasbah has redefined what a hotel stay can be, with no reception, no restaurant, no keys and no fixed itinerary.
Hidden in the Skoura palm grove, once an important caravan stop between the High Atlas and the Sahara, the kasbah's champagne-coloured rammed-earth towers rise above manicured gardens of date palms, olive and almond trees. There are only fourteen rooms, some tucked within the kasbah's warren of towers and others among garden suites with their own courtyards, but the true signature is the absence of a dining room: every meal is served somewhere new, chosen for you that day, and lit after dark by hundreds of hand-poured candles from the estate's own candle workshop. With no menu, guests simply share their preferences and a chef with a 450-recipe repertoire takes it from there.
Its own private desert camp. Dar Ahlam pairs its Skoura kasbah with a private tented desert camp further south — Dune's Camp in winter, or the Valley of the Roses in summer — for guests wanting to extend the experience into the Sahara.
