Overview
Above the Floodplain
Six stilted suites on a private concession, small enough that the Delta stays quiet.
Sanctuary Baines’ Camp holds just six elevated suites, raised on stilts above the Okavango floodplain within a private concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. Floor-to-ceiling doors open onto panoramic Delta views, and each suite has a freestanding copper bathtub, an outdoor shower and a private deck. The scale is the appeal — six suites means the camp never feels busy, and the concession is worked by very few vehicles.
The bed goes outside. The four-poster beds are mounted so that they can be wheeled onto the veranda, letting guests sleep under the stars. Star baths can be arranged on the same principle.
