Above Eduardo VII Park on one of Lisbon’s seven hills, with one of the largest private art collections in Portugal on its walls.

Overview
Two Hundred and Eighty-Two
Two hundred and eighty-two rooms and suites, most with a terrace over the park or the old city.
The Ritz Lisbon was built in the 1950s in a mid-century idiom that has aged into something distinctive, and Four Seasons has run it since 1998. It stands on one of the seven hills above Eduardo VII Park, so all 282 rooms and suites look out at something: the hotel’s own gardens, the park, or across the old town to the castle and the Tagus. Many have private terraces. The art is not decoration — it is one of the largest privately owned collections in Portugal, hung through the public rooms and corridors, with commissioned contemporary work among it. The rooftop carries a gym and a 400-metre running track around the edge of the building.
Run the roof at sunrise. The 400-metre rooftop track circles the building above the city. Early morning, before Lisbon warms up, is the time to use it.
